Christian Ryan – Chef/Owner

Aloft’s kitchen is run by Tasmanian born and bred Christian Ryan who started his career in Hobart then moved to Melbourne to work at Taxi Dining Room. Christian went on to work internationally for Gordon Ramsay as part of the team that reopened the prestigious Savoy Grill. Since returning to Tasmania, he’s worked at The Source at Mona and as Head Chef at Property: of Pilgrim

Vicki Brewer – Sommelier

Vicki joins the Aloft team from Melbourne having worked as a Sommelier at Taxi Dining Room, Rockpool Bar and Grill, Woodland House, Smalls Wine Bar and Park St Dining. Bringing with her a wealth of knowledge through completion of WSET 3 and WSET 4 Diploma, and time spent in London, Scotland, Italy, France, Portugal and Spain visiting distilleries and wineries.
